Piñata Party

IDEAL THEME FOR CHILDREN’S PARTIES WITH A SMALL DISCO OR AS AN ADDITION TO ADULT DISCOS.

Piñata, the game explained

For many years, people in Mexico have been using Piñatas (pronounced pin-yah-taws) for almost every occasion. They are now so popular you could call it a tradition.

A Piñata is a hand made Papier-mâché/cardboard model which can be filled with sweets, balloons, small toys, in fact just about anything of your choice.

The idea of the game is to fill and suspend the Piñata by a rope and take turns to hit it with a buster. Each child gets 2 turns to try and break it open while blindfolded! (Spin the child around first to make it harder!). Once they have succeeded in breaking it open, the Piñata will release its contents and then it's a mad dash for everyone to see how many goodies they can pick up. The kids just love it and so do the parents!

Piñatas are approximately 18-24 inches high by 18-24 inches across, they are a definite "Party HIT" for any occasion and don't forget to buy the buster, blindfold and fillers!

Pull Piñatas, the game explained

'Pull Piñatas' are a great alternative to the Piñata, the game is exactly the same but instead of hitting the 'Pull Piñata' with a 'buster', each child takes a turn in pulling one of the ribbons hanging down from the 'Pull Piñata'. If the child is lucky then the ribbon they pull will be the one that releases the contents!

Add a Piñata theme to your disco . We supply the piñata of your choice from our list, the “filling”, “Buster” and hanging equipment. During the birthday party, we then invite the birthday boy or girl to step up and take the first “hit”. There are various ways to run this which we are happy to discuss in more detail with you.
